Sivaganga: A 65-year-old man was sentenced today to life term for stabbing his brother to death around eight years ago along with his wife and two sons following a dispute over a piece of land.
District and Sessions Judge Jothiraman also sentenced convict Neelamegam’s wife and their two sons to life term for stabbing the former’s 50-year-old brother Gopalakrishnan.
According to the prosecution, Neelamegam and his family members had killed in October 2009.
The court accorded life terms to the convicts saying that the prosecution had been able to cogently prove the case. The court also imposing a fine of Rs 1000 on each.
