Four persons killed in road accidents

A 35-year-old pedestrian on the spot after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle.

The accident occurred near Geetha Nursing Home in Marrepally police limits on Monday night. The deceased was later identified as R Mallesh, a watchman and resident of Tukkaramgate.

In another case, Praveen Kumar Agarwal, 29, sustained grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by an auto-rickshaw near Moinabad crossroads on Monday night. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a businessman and resident of Basheerbagh. He met with the accident while returning home from Bidar on his bike, according to Moinabad police.

In a different case, Shaik Nabi, 52, died of injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a RTC bus on Monday night. He met with the accident while crossing the road near Mujtaba Jewellers. He was immediately taken to Osmania General Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. He was a painter and resident of Syed Nagar in First Lancer, according to Humayun Nagar police.

In a separate case, V Satyarayana, 40, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on August 9 when the bike he was travelling on, along with his friend Jairam, skidded near his residence in Tukkaramgate. He was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Monday night. (INN)
