Four persons killed in road accidents

A 60-year-old man succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the bike he was riding was hit by an unidentified car.

The deceased, G. Dhanraj, a government employee, of Prem Nagar, met with the accident near Bata Showroom in Saifabad police limits on August 28. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Tuesday.

In another case, Varalaxmi, 24, died of injuries which she suffered on August 29 after she was hit by an unidentified car on Puranapul while crossing the road. She died at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday where she was admitted for treatment. She was a vegetable vendor and resident of Bahadurpura, according to police.

In a separate case, Md Waheed Ali, 54, of Tolichowki, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on August 22 after meeting with an an accident on Langar Houz flyover. According to police, Ali lost control of the bike he was riding and fell down after hidding another passerby on the flyover. He was admitted to a private hospital at Kachiguda where he died Tuesday.

In a different case, A. Narasamma, 52, a flower vendor of Ghatkesar, sustained grievous injuries when the auto-rickshaw she was travelling in was hit by a car near Ghatkesar crossroads on Monday evening. She was immediately rushed to the Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. (INN)
