Four persons commit suicide today in City

In separate cases, four persons committed suicide due to different reasons.

In the first case, Sunil Singh, 28, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Mangalhat on Wednesday night. He was an auto-rickshaw driver and financial problems are suspected to have driven him to suicide.

In another case, 55-year-old G Ananta Lakshmi committed suicide by setting herself ablaze allegedly due to domestic disputes with her husband Eshwaraiah. She took the extreme step on March 23 at her residence in Asbestos Colony and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday night, according to Kukatpally police.

In a similar case, R Shankar, 34, committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train near his residence in Bollaram Railway Station on Wednesday. Shankar, a temporary employee of a Golf Club, reportedly failed to convince his wife to return back from her parents’ house. Upset over his wife’s behaviour, he resorted to the extreme step, according to Secunderabad Railway Police.

In a different case, Subhasish Bhan, 22, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Mallapur on Wednesday night. He was reportedly depressed after he lost his private job a few days ago and the same is suspected to have driven him to suicide. (INN)
