Ina ghastly incident, four persons were burnt to death after an Alto car in which they were traveling hit a road divider and then caught fire at Pedda Amberpet on the outer ringer road near the city on Monday.
It is said that two of the victims, Shivakrishna and Srikanth were residents of Parkal in Warangal district, while the third one Raju was from Narsakkapally near Parkal, and the fourth victim Sashidhar hailed from Bellampally in Adilabad district. They went to Samshabad airport to see off their friend Bhaskar who left in a flight for Coimbattore, and were returning back home. All the victims were in the age group of 25-28 years. The bodies were totally burnt.
The car is registered in the name of Sandela Rajeshwari of Parkal in Warangal district, with TS 03 EL6551.
Avoid Rash Driving–Minister
Minister for Transport Mahender Reddy has assured that the Government will provide relief to the families of the car accident victims. The Minister enquired with the officials about the accident details. He conveyed his sympathies to the families of the victims.
The Minister said that vehicle drivers should desist from high speed and rash driving and negligent attitude. They should follow the safety rules.(NSS)
