Karnataka Media Academy, a government funded academy has awarded 58 Journalists for their excellence and contribution in the field of journalism here at Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha on February 24.
Among this following four are Muslims:
B.M. Haneef: a senior jouranist with Deccan Hearald group of publications. Currently he is serving as editor of Kannada weekly Sudha. Recently he has been nominated as chairman of Beary’s Academy also.
Afshan Yasmeen: A senior journalist working for The Hindu, daily newspaper.
Syed Peer Pasha Quadri: A senior reporter associated with Salar daily, hails from Kolar.
Rauf Ahmed: Hails from Bagalkot has been working for ETV Urdu as reporter for Karnataka.Courtesy:Karnataka muslims
