Hyderabad, October 30: In the cabinet meeting which was convened after a lapse of four and a half months, four ministers remained absent. Two ministers from Seema Andhra wishwaroop & G. Aruna Kumari and two ministers form Telangana K. Jana Reddy and P. Laxmaiah remained absent from the cabinet meeting. Dr. Shanker Rao came and signed the attendance register and later on he went away without attending the meeting. Mr. Wishwaroop has gone to attend the funeral of one of his close relative whereas Ms. G. Aruna Kumari didn’t attend cabinet meeting because she is suffering from viral fever.

Mr. Jana Reddy proceeded to New Delhi on account of his prior appointment whereas Mr. P. Laxmaiah is on a visit to USA. It is said that CM has issued instructions to all the collectors to hoist flags on their offices because Telangana ministers have given a call to boycott A.P. Formation Day to be held on 1st November 2011.

CM will hoist the flag on 1st November at N.T.R. stadium and would address the gathering. Secretariat sources revealed that the CM has issued instructions to his cabinet colleagues to participate in Rachabanda programme which is being launched on 2nd November and also to make it a success because it is deemed as a prestige issue of the Govt.

CM has also issued instructions to police to arrest the persons even if they are of high status if they try to obstruct Rachabanda Programme. The CM said that enough police force is available in each of the districts. It is said that despite heavy opposition for the allotment of one thousand acres of land for a cement company in Kurnool, CM accorded sanction. On the objectionable behavior of Minister of Handlooms, Dr. Shanker Rao, Mr. B. Satyanarayana said that on receipt of the orders from Congress High command action will be taken against him.
