Bilaspur: In yet another incident of crime against women, four men allegedly gang-raped two Sadhvis after abducting them. This incident took place in Bilaspur District, Chhattisgarh.
Although the incident took place on 2nd March 2018, a case has been registered on Saturday at Pendra Police Station.
As per the details mentioned in the complaint, on 2nd March, after the two victims got down at Champa Railyway Station, a person by name Dilipchand Patel said that he would drop them in his car to their ashram. However, Patel turned the vehicle in the middle of the route. When victims objected, the accused said that he will attend child’s birthday celebration and then drop them, News 18 reported.
It may be mentioned that the victims know the accused person, Dilipchand.
Later, three more persons got into the car.
The accused persons took the victims to an isolated place near Sonnadi in Pendra and raped them. They also wanted to kill the victims. However, the victims were allowed to go after they begged for their lives.
After a few days, one of the victims wrote a letter to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh narrating the incident. Police registered a case after State Government issued instructions.
