Four Mahila police stations in Cyberabad soon: Sabita

Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy here on Friday said that four Mahila Police Stations would be set up in four divisions under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

Participating in several stone-laying and inaugural functions under Rajendranagar municipal area, the Home Minister said that proposals have been sent to the government for setting up of four Mahila police stations under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate to ensure early disposal of cases pertaining to crime against women. She also said that the government expressed its willingness to set up women police stations in the thickly populated areas in view of rising crime against the fair sex and to maintain law and order.

The Home Minister laid foundation stones to several developmental programs under Rajendranagar municipality. Later, she declared open Rs 10 lakh BT Road in Gaganpahad.

Local legislator Prakash Goud, Rajendranagar municipal deputy commissioner Srinivas Goud, deputy Collector Mukunda Reddy and others were present.
