In separate cases, four persons were killed in different road accidents in the city.
A 40-year-old carpenter, M Prakash, died of injuries which he sustained after he was hit by an auto-rickshaw near his residence in Shanti Nagar on March 25. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Thursday, according to Patencheruvu police.
In another case, B Ram Babu, 52, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the bi-cycle he was riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Uppal crossroads on March 22. He died at the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment. He was a labourer and resident of Veerappaguda.
In a different case, 36-year-old S Shankar Reddy sustained grievous injuries after falling from him motorcycle after hitting a stray animal near his residence in Syed Alipu in Mominpet police limits on Wednesday night. He was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where he died on Thursday.
In another case, Vinod Bahadur, 26, died of injuries which he sustained after losing control of his motorcycle and hit an electric pole near Sun City on Wednesday night. He was taken to the Osmania General Hospital where he died a few hours after admission. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of Site-3 in Borabanda, according to Narsing police. (INN)
