Four killed in road accidents

A 50-year-old man succumbed to the injuries which he had sustained when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car.

The accident occurred on June 1 near Katedhan crossroads when the victim, Md Nayeem Ahmed, was proceeding towards his residence in Aliabad. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Sunday night, according to Mailardevpally police.

In another case, S. Manjula, 32, of Ravirala, was killed after she was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road near HP Petrol Pump in Maheshwaram police limits on Monday evening. She had sustained grievous injuries and died a few hours after admission at Osmania General Hospital.

In a different case, M. Krishna, 45, was killed while his son Vijayakanth was injured, when the bike they were riding was hit by a car near Kandukur crossroads on Monday night. They were agriculturists and residents of Kothur village in Kandukar mandal of Ranga Reddy district, according to Maheshwaram police.

In a separate case, C. Chandraiah, 40, succumbed to the injuries which he had sustained after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle in Adibatla crossroads. He met with the accident on June 4 and died on Sunday night while undergoing treatment at the OGH. He was a watchman at HMDA office and native of Mahabubnagar district. (INN)
