Four killed in mishap; two due to snake-bite

Six persons, including two Armymen, were killed in two separate incidents in Rajasthan, police said today.

In the first incident, four persons were killed today when the jeep they were travelling in overturned after a tyre burst in Sikar district.

While three persons died on the spot, another man succumbed to injuries at a government hospital, police said.

In a separate incident, two Armymen died of suspected snake-bite late last night in Mahajan firing range in Bikaner district, police said.

The duo, Naik Anil Kumar and Sanjay, posted in Suratgarh, was staying in the range for the last few days for a training programme.

Both were found unconscious early this morning following which they were rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead on arrival, police said.
