Four killed in road accidents

A 48-year-old man died of grievous injuries which he sustained after he was hit by a motorcycle on Narayanaguda flyover on Thursday morning.

The victim, K Vijaya Kumar, met with the accident while crossing the road. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a resident of Gandhi Kutir in Narayanguda and a security guard at Taj Mahal Hotel, Abids.

In another case, T Srinivas, 40, of Adikmet, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on Wednesday after he was hit by a car while crossing the road in Gopalapuram police limits. He was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where he died today.

In a different case, 60-year-old C Chandramma, died of injuries which she sustained after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road near her residence in Chevella on May 27. She was admitted to Osmania General Hospital where she died on Wednesday night.

In a separate case, M Appaiah, 70, who got injured after getting with a bike near his residence in Margadarsi Colony near Kothapet on May 31, died at the Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday night. He was a retired employee of RTC, according to Saroornagar police. (INN)
