Four people died on the spot and another critically injured in a road accident on the outskirts of Shadnagar on Sunday.
According to the information, five persons belonging to Katedan, traveling in a Swift car towards Bhoothpur in Mahbubnagar district, hit head-on an Innova coming from opposite direction. Innova car tyre punctured and moved over divider and hit the Swift, which was coming in the opposite direction. As a resulu, Ramanujulu (28), Sai (22), Mahesh Goud (18), Rinku (14), traveling in Swift died on the spot. Another person Tillu, who was also traveling in Swift, was injured critically.
Shadnagar ASP Kalmeshwar, Inspector Shankaraiah visited the spot and shifted the bodies to Shadnagar Government Hospital. (NSS)
