Four IPS officers promoted

Additional Director of Anti- Corruption Bureau Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy has been promoted as Inspector General of Police and posted as Inspector General of Coastal Security.

The State Government has issued GO Tuesday midnight giving promotion to four IPS officers and giving them posting.

Chief Vigilance & Security Officer of APGENCO, Kripanand Tripathi Ujela has been promoted to the Super time Scale of IPS in the rank of Inspector General of Police. His services are withdrawn from the Energy Department and he was posted as Special Secretary of Home Department.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Intelligence) N.Balasubramanyam has been promoted as Inspector General of Police and posted as Inspector General of Police, Intelligence.

Another senior IPS officer Shivdhar Reddy has been transferred and posted as Additional Director of Anti Corruption Bureau, Hyderabad, vice Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy transferred.

Additional Director General of Police, (Co-ordination) Ambati Sivanarayana is transferred and posted as Additional Director General (Vigilance & Enforcement), General Administration (V&E) Department.

The transfer of Sreenivasa Reddy to a loop line post has political angle. The IPS officer was facing allegation from an Inspector that the latter has brought force on him to include the names of family members of PCC president Bosta Satyanarayana in the FIR of liquor syndicate case. (NSS)
