South Zone Task Force team Hyderabad on credible information, apprehended four accused persons namely (A1) Md Rahman Asifuddin an lorry dealing agent R/o Gazimillath Colony of Chandrayangutta Hyderabad (A2) R. Narsing (30) a driver R/o. Indoore of M.P. (A3) Chandra Sen Singh (40) a Driver R/o. Govindi, Mumbai of Maharashtra (A4) Ayub Khan (30) a Driver R/o. Falaknuma of Hyderabad. (A5) Afsar R/o. Nawabsabkunta ( absconding) who were found indulged in procuring the stolen lorries from various places i.e. Amaravathi, Nagpur, Chandrapur and Mumbai of Maharashtra, brought them to Hyderabad and dispose the same through one Md Rahman Asifuddin R/o. Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad and seized One truck bearing No. MH-04-CU-616 (Stolen from Taloja Rly Station pertains to Crime No. 52/2014 U/s. 379 IPC of Taloja P.S., Thane, Navi Mumbai)
The brief facts of the case are that, South Zone Task Force Team received reliable information regarding, procuring stolen lorries by A1. Md Rahman Asifuddin along with his associate Afsar R/o. Nawabsabkunta from various places and disposing the same at Hyderabad. Received the information that two stolen lorries are available with Md Rahman Asifuddin which were stolen and brought from Taloja Rly Station, Thande, Navi Mumbai to Hyderabad by A2 and A3 for disposal. On this information conducted raid and apprehended the above mentioned accused persons and recovered one truck at their instance.
During the interrogation, it came to know that, the accused persons A2 and A3 stolen two lorries at Taloja Rly Station, Thane, Navi Mumbai and brought to Hyderabad and disposed one lorry through Md Rahman Asifuddin and Afsar with the assistance of A4. Ayub Khan. Another above said vehicle was recovered by South Zone Task Force Team.
Further it came to know that, this gang so far procured more than (30) stolen lorries from various places i.e. Amaravathi, Nagpur, Chandapur and Mumbai of Maharashtra, brought them to Hyderabad and disposed the same through the said Asifuddin and Afsar at Hyderabad by dismantling and selling as spare parts.
he arrested accused persons are being handed over to Thaloja P.S., Thane of Navi Mumbai for taking further action against them.
