On credible information North Zone Task Force team apprehended four accused persons Mohammed Arshad (25) a wood carving R/o Asif nagar N/o Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh (A2) Mohd. Ali (30) a Carpenter, R/o. Tolichowki of Hyderabad, (A3) Kashigari.Raju (29) a Motor winding work R/o. Bapu Reddy Nagar of Katedan, Hyderabad (A4) K Sailesh Sagar (21) an student R/o Ambika nagar of Uppuguda Hyderabad who indulging in drug trafficking near Cantonment park, at Jubilee Bus station, Secunderabad and seized 2.650 kilograms of “OPIUM” contraband drug” and four cell phones from their possession.
Brief facts of the case are that the accused A1. Mohd. Arshad is native of Uttarpradesh state, due to financial problems he along with his associates Mohd. Ali , Kashigari.Raju , Kalva.Sailesh Sagar @ Khanna hatched a plan of selling the Opium Contraband Drug by procuring from Uttarpradesh state. Few days back the accused A2. Mohd. Ali informed with A1.Mohd. Arshad that he had some contacts with local youth namely A3.Kashigari.Raju, A4. Kalva.Sailesh Sagar @ Khanna, and they required huge quantity of opium and requested to arrange the Opium for selling the same to the needy customers. After that in the first week of April, 2014, A1. Mohd. Arshad went to his native Mandi samithi road , Saharanpur Dist, UttarPradesh state and purchased 3 KG of “Opium” from one un known person and came to Hyderabad by packing the Opium in polythene covers and concealing it in his luggage bag. Few days back he along with his friend Mohd. Ali sold 300 Grams of Opium to one un known customer at Asif Nagar for Rs. 15000 and both shared the amount and spent for their family needs. On April 16, 2014 at early hours, the A1 along with A2 to A4 came to near Cantonment Garden, at Jublee Bus station, Secunderabad to sell the opium to needy customers and earn money easily, meantime apprehend the four accused persons and seized 2.650 kilograms of “OPIUM” contraband drug and 04 mobile phones from their possession.
The arrested four accused persons along with seized property were produced before the DCP Detective Department, CCS, Hyderabad with request to take necessary action under appropriate section of NDPS Act.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of K Ramchandran, Additional Task Force Hyderabad with the assistance of Harish Kaushik, Inspector of Police and his staff. (INN)
