Four get life term for murder

New Delhi, August 09: A Delhi court today sentenced four men to life imprisonment for killing a boy at New Delhi Railway Station as he failed to obey their commands.

Additional Sessions Judge Poonam Chaudhary awarded the prison term, along with a fine of Rs 4,000 each on Chandan, Sujeet Kumar, Balmukund and Pradeep Kumar, after holding them guilty of murder, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence under the IPC.

“Considering the gravity of the offence and the fact that a young child of 13-14 years was murdered because of the acts and deeds of the convicts, it shows that they had no concern for law and the human life,” the court observed in its judgement.
