Bareilly: A couple and their two children were today found dead at their house in Gayatri Colony here, police said.
The incident came to light when the van driver reached Naresh Sethi’s (50) residence at Izatnagar area to check on the family as the children had not gone to school for two days, they said.
Bodies of Sethi, his wife Shikha (45), son Shubham (15) and daughter Astha (12) were found when the house was opened, Sameer Saurabh, SP (City) said.
The four might have died two days ago. The locker of an almirah was found broken and other belongings were scattered, he said.
The bodies, which have been sent for postmortem, appeared to have been hit by some blunt object, the SP added.
