As expected, all the four candidates who have filed nominations have been declared elected unopposed in the MLC elections in Andhra Pradesh. There were four vacancies.
The elected MLCs are: Prathibha Bharathi, MA Sharif from the TDP, Somu Veerraju from the BJP, Govinda Reddy of YSCRP. At the end of time for withdrawal of nominations today, the election of the four candidates was announced officially. (NSS)
