Sangrur, June 20: Four of a family were killed and eight others injured, four of them seriously, in a road accident today near village Hamirgarh here, police said.
The mishap occurred following head on collision between a swift car and Indica car.
DSP Harpreet Singh identified the deceased as Manoj Kumar, his wife Manju Rani and a kid Dimpi (12). The fourth breathed his last at a Tohana hospital and he is yet to be identified, he added.
He said that the deceased were returning to Rajpura after attending a function while most of the injured were on their way to Ratia (Haryana).
