The PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana has stated that an extended meeting of the Seemandhra leaders will be held at party head quarters on March 5. He told media persons that the meeting is aimed at strengthening the party in Seemandhra region where there is a sort of discontent over bifurcation of the state.
Botcha said that he has appointed party presidents for four districts– Sivarami Reddy for Ananthapuram, Dhanujaya Reddy for Nellore, Venugopal Reddy for Chittoor and Venakteswar Rao for West Godavari. This is part of strengthening the party at district level in Seemandhra, he said. ‘We will appoint some more leaders of the party at various levels’, he added.
Those who attended the meeting include Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy, C Ramachandraiah, P Balaraju and R Padma Raju. (NSS)
