In a Statement issued here today, Konda Lakshma Reddy, Ex-MLA and Chairman, and Mohd Raheemullah Khan Niyazi, TRS In-charge Nampally Constituency & General Secretary, Forum to support KCR, have said that it is heartening to note that the TS Genco has achieved Surplus power Generation now, and the TS Government is going to have a long-term Power Purchase Agreement for 2,000 MW with Chattisgarh and another Medium Term PPA for 2,000 MW from the Southern Grid.
The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao deserves all praise for this and also for making the REC to fund around Rs.25,000 Crore for construction of Telangana State Genco Power Stations. The Chief Minister deserves all appreciation for achieving PPAs with Chattisgarh on one hand and making the REC to invest such a huge amount in the State for the benefit of the farmers, on the other. The farmers are in need of power now, and the Forum to Support KCR hails the Chief Minister for taking these initiatives which would go a long way in solving the problems being faced by the farming community in the State, they said.
The Chief Minister KCR is taking keen interest in solving the problems of the farmers and help them a great deal. Surely, K Chandrasekhar Rao is working hard to fulfil the promises made to different Sections of population. ‘We thank, the Chief Minister for the interest he is taking in the farmers and other sections and solving their problems. People of Telangana State are appreciating the TS Government for its efforts in resolving the power crises. People are appreciative for good Administration of dynamic Chief Minister of TS,KCR, they added.
