Formulate a schedule for the development of Old City: Aziz Pasha

Lack of representations from the public is a hurdle in the development of Old City. This is evidenced by the representations received by people during the recently held Racha Banda programme of the Govt. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Aziz Pasha, M.P. while addressing a gathering organized by INSAF organization held at Panch Mohalla. Comrade Nusrath Mohiuddin, comrade Mohammed Yousuf, comrade Mir Ahmed Ali and others were present at the meeting.

Mr. Aziz Pasha said that Govermental authorities also admit that the Muslims are the worst sufferers but adequate representation is not being made regularly. This is the reason that the problems are not being solved. Majority of the people of the Old City of Hyderabad are unemployed. They are skilled workers but without jobs.

He stressed the need for the workers of INSAF to make proper representations and also establish branches in the Old City. General Secretary of INSAF comrade Nusrath Mohiuddin applauded the performance of INSAF workers.

He said there are a lot of problems to be solved. Many municipal divisions are devoid of minimum basic amenities. It is the duty of the INSAF workers to represent these problems to the concerned authorities and see that they are resolved.

President of INSAF, Hyderabad City, Chandrayangutta division stressed the need to struggle for the solution of these problems. Mr. Mohammed Ali condemned the atrocities of the police. The police officials are harassing the small businessmen of the Old City.

Mr. Aziz Pasha assured that he would speak to police commissioner of Hyderabda to end police atrocities.
