BP Acharya, Commissioner, Information and Public Relations, Telangana Government today expressed distress at the demise of SPS Raja, former press secretary to several Governors. Raja died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday.
In a communication here, Acharya stated that Raja was a good human being who maintained better relations with officials and media persons. Raja offered the best services in various capacities in the information department Acharya said and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
In another communiqué Director, Information Department A Subhash Goud, Additional Director V Subhash expressed shock at Raja’s death. Subhash Goud recalled that Raja was noted for offering efficient services in his own capacity. While V Subhash stated that Raja was a good human being and a friend to senior scribes.
Raja worked as press secretary to Governors such as – ND Tiwari, SS Barnala and ESL Narasimhan in combined Andhra Pradesh State. Raja associated with NTPC before joining the information department at Warangal and Peddapalli besides working as PRO to DGP. RJD Nagaiah Kamble, officials and staff of the department extended condolences to the bereaved family members. Final rites of Raja will be performed at Amberpet Cemetery on Thursday at 11 am, according to information.(NSS)
