Former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has opined that it is better on the part of Ministers from Telangana region if they took a decision that could be believable by the people of the region on separate Telangana State issue.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Venkat Reddy said that separate Telangana State would have formed much earlier if the Ministers from the region had resigned to their posts when he resigned to his Minister post. He said that he had sacrificed by tendering resignation to his minister post and it is a much greater sacrifice than TRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao’s.
He said that he was getting a doubt on the conduct of local body elections whether they were conducted for the sake of general elections. He said that it is good on the part of Telangana Congress leaders if they took a decision to keep away from elections. (NSS)
