Answering to a question, he said the misfortune of Urdu is that it has been neglected completely from the national media and he held the Urdu people themselves responsible for it.

He said that in a democratic country, the proper representation and lobbying is essential to promote any cause, but the MLAs and MPs who are supposed to raise the issue, are unaware of the consequences of negligence from Urdu. Therefore the chances of Urdu’s survival are dim.
