Former DGP V Dinesh Reddy joined the YSR Congress Party here on Monday.
Dinesh Reddy joined the party in the presence of YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at latter’s residence Lotus Pond. Speaking to media persons later, Dinesh Reddy said that he would strive hard for the party’s victory in the ensuing elections. “I have seen YS Rajasekhara Reddy very closely, and the development that his welfare schemes brought for the poor. He worked hard for the welfare of the poor and YS Jagan’s leadership can only take that good work forward,” he said.
Dinesh Reddy also alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy was implicated in false cases by the Congress Government. He said that it was improper to level allegations against Jagan without them being proved. When asked about the possibilities of him contesting the ensuing elections, he said that he would abide by the party High Command’s decision on this. (INN)
