Former CIA deputy chief warns Al Qaeda could still bring down US plane

A former deputy chief of the Central Investigative Agency (CIA) has warned that terrorists could bring down a plane flying between the United States and the United Kingdom tomorrow.

Michael Morell, who served as a CIA deputy from 2010 to 2013, said in his book, called ‘ The Great War of Our Time,’ that Al Qaeda still possessed the ability to attack a ransatlantic plane, reported News.com.au.

Morell noted that Al Qaeda and particularly, its chief bombmaker, Ibrahim al-Asiri, still posed a threat to the U.S. He added that Asiri could be the most dangerous terrorist alive today as he is a “master” at his craft and is evil. (ANI)
