Through his research he has proved that the former ruler of Hyderabad, Nawab Meer Osman Ali Khan was holding an independent status at the time of merger of Hyderabad into Indian Union. He neither tried to join Pakistan nor was he in favor of it. Mr. Reddy has made many revelations about the injustices meted out to Hyderabad, especially the role of Minorities in freedom struggle.
Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily criticized in clear terms on Telangana leadership and blamed it for the delay in the formation of separate Telangana State. Central Govt. is not forming Telangana State with good intensions but it is its political compulsion. More than one thousand youths have sacrificed their lives which forced the Central Govt. to form Telangana. He further told that the way the frame work of Social Engineering has emerged, its result is that the Central Govt. decided to form Telangana. Congratulating Captain Panduranga Reddy, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that Mr. Reddy is not only an illustrious son of Telangana but also a symbol of the Ganga Jamuna civilization of Hyderabad. By his research, he has exposed many facts on Police Action on Hyderabad. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan further told that for the success of any struggle, intention plays an important role. Citing the example of the formation of Pakistan, he said that all though Pakistan was formed on the basis of religion but it failed as a state due to bad intentions. In the same manner, A.P. State was formed merging the two Telugu regions but it failed due to the ill intention of the rulers. Referring to the failure of leadership of Telangana, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that it would have been better if Captain Panduranga Reddy had included a chapter on the failures of leadership in Telangana. He hoped that in the next edition of the book, this chapter would be included. Giving a reference to his present visit to Delhi, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that there is an atmosphere of sorrow and sadness at the residences of Seema Andhra leaders in New Delhi. It looks as if there is disappointment on the faces of Seema Andhra leaders. When he visited an important Central leader, a few Seema Andhra leaders were already present there. Disappointment was clearly depicted from their faces. He advised the future leadership of Telangana to take all the communities with them, lest the formation of Telangana meets with failure.
Prof. A. Satyanarayana of Central University of Goa, referring to the research made by Captain Panduranga Reddy told that there were two Muslim personalities who offered sacrifices for the first time for the Independence Struggle. In the same manner, the design of the national flag was given by Ms. Surayya Badaruddin Tayyabji from Hyderabad. He further told that the people of Hyderabad had to face atrocities and injustices after Police Action in the same way as the people of Telangana region suffered after the formation of A.P. State. The Nizam of Hyderabad had presented his case in United Nation after the violation of agreement by Govt. of India.
