Telangana-Andhra-Rayalaseema Samajika Samanvaya Committee has extended its wholehearted support for formation of separate Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, committee representative Sambasiva Rao felt that poor and downtrodden sections in the society would progress quickly in Smaller States due to decentralisation of administration and the slogan of “United State” was meaningless and outdated. He said the people in the three regions of the State were yearning for special packages and the Centre should trifurcate the State in deference to the wishes of the people.
Sambasiva Rao has appealed to the leaders of Seemandhra region not to create hurdles for formation of separate Telangana State. (NSS)
