Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma today directed the District Collectors to upload all the details pertaining to new districts, staff, accommodation and others into website of Centre for Good Governance (CGG) for providing better services to the people. Every detail of new districts, mandals and revenue divisions should be uploaded into the CGG, he said.
Addressing a video conference of collectors from Secretariat here Rajiv Sharma asked the former to send proposals of the staff for new districts completion to finance department wherein a special cell will be formed to coordinate. He directed them to upload the details based on the new districts, socio, economic and geographical conditions of the new districts steps must be taken on the staff adjustment, new staff and offices.
The Chief Secretary also directed Agriculture, Revenue, Education, Police, Panchayat Raj and other departments to prepare proposals to commence functioning of new mandals and revenue divisions. Rajiv Sharma directed Panchayat Raj Commissioner to prepare proposals of new staff at mandals to monitor the development works. Based on the load of work, the officials should take steps on staff allocation, adjustment, availability of officials, details of vehicles, organogram and redeployment, he said. He also asked the Collectors to prepare a list of staff working on temporary basis. (NSS)
