The formation of State Minority Commission has stepped into its final phase. Thought the high command has given green signal to chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for the formation of the commission however due to lack of consensus between chief minister and President Pradesh Congress president on the names of chairman and members, the issuance of order is being delayed.
It is said that chief minister has recommended, senior Congress leader and general secretary Pradesh Congress committee Abid Rasool Khan’s name, while Pradesh Congress president has voted for Justice Ghulam Mohammed retd. High Court judge.
Both the names have been sent to the high command it remains to be seen which name will be approved by the high command.
