State General Secretary of the student wing of Congress Party, National Students Union of India Mr. Aamer Javeed welcomed the formation of a high level committee by the Chief Minister.
The Committee has been asked to review the 25% reservation of poor students in educational institutions during the next academic year 2012-13 and submit its report before 15th May.
He told that Govt. has taken a decision to provide free education to the extent of 25% in all the private and aided schools which will benefit the poor sections of the society. This committee is headed by Mr. Shiv Shanker, Director of School Education. It includes eight members. He assured that students organization will also work for creating educational awareness among the poor families in the state.
