Jaipur, August 20: A forest department employee was seriously injured when a tiger attacked him inside the Rathambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur district today.
Daulat Singh, who is in his forties, suffered serious injuries in his face and limbs following the tiger attack this afternoon.
When Chief Minister Ashok Geklot came to know about the incident, he immediately dispatched a chopper to bring the injured employee to Jaipur for treatment, a CMO spokesperson said.
Singh was soon brought to Jaipur and operated upon in SMS Hospital, he said, adding his condition is stated to be out of danger.
This is the third such incident in the last two months inside the park and two persons were killed in tiger attacks during this period.
