New Delhi, April 07: Even as Japan recovers from a devastating earthquake and tsunami, Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will travel to Japan Friday for consultations on various issues.
The external affairs ministry said Rao will April 8-9 hold talks with Vice Foreign Minister Kenichiro Sasae and Deputy Foreign minister Koro Bessho.
They will discuss “bilateral, regional and global issues”.
India and Japan have regularly consulted one another on issues like UN Security Council reforms as well as subjects like maritime security, non-proliferation, climate change and regional architecture.
