Hyderabad: S. Venkat Narayan, President of the New Delhi based Foreign Correspondents’ Club (FCC) of South Asia extended an invitation to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao requesting him to make power point presentation on Schemes, Programmes and Development activities in Telangana.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Venkat Narayan congratulated KCR and mentioned that, “I was delighted to see and read about your fascinating power point presentation in the State Assembly on 31st March 2016. Possibly, this is the first time that such a presentation has been made in a Legislature anywhere in the world”.
He further mentioned that, “It gives me great pleasure to invite you as a Special Guest to the FCC to introduce you to the global media as a dynamic Chief Minister of the newest state in India. Please make a power point presentation of what you have been able to achieve so far and about your future plans. This can be followed by a question and answer session and an interaction with our members”.
Established in 1958, the FCC is possibly the oldest and most prestigious institution of its kind in South Asia. Over 500 foreign and Indian journalists based in New Delhi and covering all the South Asian countries for important newspapers, magazines, radio and television channels from all over the world are its members.
The Chief Minister thanked the President of FCC for extending invitation to him. (INN)
