According to the report of Mrs. Surayya Jabeen, the annual meeting of Mahfil-e-Khawateen will be held on December 18, at 4:30 pm, at Urdu Hall, Himayat Nagar. Prof. S A Shukoor Secretary and Director Urdu Academy will preside over. Dr. Syed Mustafa Kamal editor Shagufa, Prof. Ashraf Rafi, Prof. Fatima Parveen and Dr. Khaja Kamaluddin (Chicago) will be the chief guests. Begum Sarwar Babu Khan Chief patron Mahfil-e-Khawateen will release the magazine of Mahfil-e-Khawateen.
Mr. Syed Basheer Baig, president Hyderabad Association (Canada), Mr. Rafath Aalam member Hyderabad Association (Canada), Mr. Mohammed Yar Khan member Hyderabad Association (Canada), Mr. Nusrat Yar Khan moderator Charminar Connection (Masqat) will attend the annual meeting of the Mahfil. Prof. Habeeb Zia will welcome the guests. Tasneem Jauhar will conduct the proceedings of the literary session. Nikhat Ara Shaheen will be the organizer of the Mushaira to be followed by literary session. Literature lovers are requested to attend the programme.
