According to an article published in Cartoq.com, Ford will be lauching new 6 cars in India, most probably in 2018.
The new variants are:
1. Ford Free style
It is the Ford Ka (Figo) that is sold internationally by the brand
It is expected to be launched in February 2018.
Features:
• Aggressive looking
• Engines: 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel
• Expected to replace the 1.2-litre petrol engine with a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine based on the 1.5-litre petrol Dragon engine that Ford introduced with the EcoSport last year.
2. Figo facelift
Will be launched in February 2018
• It is expected that Ford new 1.2-litre Dragon engine to power the Figo
• new 1.5-litre Dragon engine will replace the 1.5-litre engine
• 1.5 litre diesel engine will remain as it is
3. Figo Aspire facelift
Expected to launched in mid-2018
It is expected that this model will prove to be competitive to popular vehicles like the Dzire and the Xcent.
4. New Mustang
Expected to be launched in late 2018.
• It is already released internationally.
• New version gets revamped interiors
• Gets smartphone integration based infotainment system
• 5-litre V8 engine has become more powerful and gets a 10-speed automatic transmission
5. Kuga based SUV
Expected to be launched in late 2018.
• Already Ford has launched two SUVs in India — EcoSport and the Endeavour.
• Now the brand is planning to launch Kuga based SUV in India.
• Internationally, Kuga offers 2WD and 4WD. The same is expected in India.
6. Endeavour FL
Expected to be launched in late 20198 or early 2019.
• It has been already spotted in Thailand where it is observed that it has got a new bumper and new grille.
