Ford India reports sales up by 15.86% for April 2016

New Delhi: Ford India has reported that the company has achieved a hike of 15.86% in its sales for the April this year, with the sale of 16,470 units. Ford said it had recorded that the firm sold 14,215 units in the month of April last year. The statement also stated that the exports during the month grew by 7.05% with 9,939 units compared to 9,284 units in April 2015.

Executive director of marketing, sales, and service at Ford India, Anurag Mehrotra said, “Our three-pronged brand transformation strategy based on introducing products that customers want and value, addressing the cost of ownership perception and delivering a differentiated customer experience continues has enabled us to deliver above industry growth rate.” The company said its domestic sales witnessed a growth of 32.44 percent to 6,531 units against 4,931 units during the same period last year.
