Ford India appoints N Raja as Vice President

New Delhi, April 29: Ford India today announced the appointment of N Raja as Vice President, Sales, with effect from April 1. He replaces Timothy Tucker, who was appointed President and CEO, Ford Japan, a company statement said.

Mr Raja will report directly to Ford India, Executive Director (Marketing, Sales & Service) Nigel Wark.

In his new role, Mr Raja will responsible for delivering the sales and revenue targets for Ford products in the Indian automotive market. Prior to this appointment, he had served as General Manager of Sales, responsible for National Sales and Field Operations across India. ”Raja’s leadership, rich experience and knowledge of the Indian car market are great assets to Ford India and will help us continue to build our competitive position in the market,” Mr Wark said. Mr Raja is an alumnus of Anna University, Chennai and FMS, Delhi where he completed his B Tech and MBA, respectively. He is an auto industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.

Mr Raja joined Ford India in 2006 as a General Manager of Dealer Development. He was previously employed with Tata Motors and Hyundai.
