Footballers accused of sexually assaulting woman to celebrate match win in Britain

London, May 9 (ANI): A teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a group of arrogant footballers, including the son of a Premier League manager while she was sleeping off a night on a town in Britain, jurors heard.

The girl, who was semi-conscious, was photographed with the top of her pink dress pulled down so the players could show their friends.

According to the Daily Star, the 19-year-old later found the photographs of the assault on a mobile phone after she woke up in a Brighton hotel room.

Four members of Brighton and Hove Albion football club had been celebrating a match win in July 2011 when they met the woman in a club, the court heard.

Brighton and Hove Albion players Anton Rodgers, 20, Lewis Dunk, 21, and George Barker, 21, and former team-mate Steve Cook, 22, who now plays for Bournemouth, have denied sexually assaulting the girl.

The court heard that the woman had woken in the morning to find herself in bed with Rodgers in a room where another player was asleep.

Her bra had been removed and the top of her dress pulled down, exposing her breasts, the court was told. (ANI)
