(Siasat News) Traffic problem in the city has become very serious, especially the pedestrians have to face a lot of difficulty. Govt. had announced to construct foot over bridges at Madina Buildin, Bahadurpura, Zoo Park and Nampally. A notification was also issued by the Govt. on 22nd December 2005 and an announcement was made that 8 foot over bridges would be constructed with an expenditure of Rs. 47 crore ad each foot ever bridge would cost Rs. 50-73 lakh. It was also stated that a foot over bridge would be constructed at Madina Building with a cost of Rs. 53.5 lakh. It was also promised that foot over bridges would be constructed at Rasoolpura, Begumpet, Ameerpet and Dilsukhnagar. It is regrettable foot over bridges were constructed at Rasoolpura, Begumpet, Khairatabad, Ameerpet, St. Anns High School, Secunderabad and Dilsukhnagar. Old city has been neglected and no foot over bridges were constructed and Zoo park, Madina Building and Nampally. GHMC should fulfill his promise.
