Hyderabad, December 10: Old Qutub Shahi mosque is located in a garden at Maheshvaram road. Though located by the side of main road it has been completely hidden among the bushes. Despite this it questions every Muslim passing by looking into his eyes ‘have you forgotten me! The One who has created you and to whom you shall return; I am the house of the same Real Owner but I am abandoned and deserted.”
There is also a madarsa near the mosque. A board in front of the mosque states Maheshvaram is 7 kilometers away. The mosque is recorded in waqf gazette dated 16-2-1989 on gazette no: 7-A.
