Old mosque Jafferpura Karwan uninhabited
Hyderabad, November 5: Old mosque Jafferpura Karwan is uninhabited since long. Hyderabad, the city of mosques, has hundreds of mosques which are uninhabited or have been transformed into the residence of either Muslims or non Muslims. Sadly there are a number of uninhabited mosques which are out of our sight which have been converted into dairy forms, factories and garages etc. In these circumstances our faith has been weakened.
Dargah Hazrat Jaffer Baba and Masjid Jafferpura is in Karwan whose municipal no. is 13-6-71. This is Hazrat Jaffer Saheb’s dargah and the locality is also named after him. It has been learnt from the waqf record that there was 5610 sqyd land which is no more. Sadly despite being registered in the waqf gazette the waqf board failed to protect the mosque and dargah land.
