Masjid Bukhari Rajendarnagar uninhabited
Hyderabad, November 4: Foundation stone of Masjid Bukhari Rajendarnagar was laid by Afzalul Ulama Prof. Abdul Wahab Bukhari on March 3, 1977 at Agricultural University. This mosque is uninhabited thanks to the narrow-minded officials.
Bukhari Masjid which is in strong and good conditions awaits the echoes of ‘azaan’ and prostration of the worshipers. Students staying in university hostel are desperate to rehabilitate the mosque but high officials of agricultural university are becoming an obstacle in the rehabilitation of the mosque despite the fact that there are more than 50 Muslim students studying in the university and nearly 30 members among the university staff are Muslims. All these persons heartily wish to rehabilitate the mosque.
Besides there is an RTC bus stop opposite to the mosque. If the voice of ‘azaan’ echoes from the mosque surely a number of Muslims would come to prostrate before God. University students have appealed to the Minority Welfare and waqf minister to take special interest and take measures to rehabilitate the mosque.
