Masjid Syed Ali Gaulipura uninhabited since 1990
Hyderabad, November 1: Masjid Syed Ali Gaulipura is uninhabited since 1990. This is a 400 year old mosque. There are some graves and an Almond tree inside the mosque. The roof is made up of wood and mortar. The mosque is located in purely non-Muslim locality. Despite being uninhabited the mosque is whitewashed before every Ramadan. Since the time when the mosque was inhabited till date a virtuous person Mr. Jaleel Ahmed has been cleaning the mosque twice a week coming all the way from Vattepally. But for preventing anyone from entering the mosque some miscreants have kept a big garbage bin at the mosque’s entrance which makes it difficult to enter into the mosque. This mosque was burnt by the miscreants on 10-04-2010 whose FIR no is 47/2010.
