Masjid Aalamgiri, Lal Darwaza uninhabited
Hyderabad, October 22: Masjid Aalamgiri is located adjacent to an old graveyard in Lal Darwaza. Some Muslim young men whitewashed the mosque during Ramadan but it is still uninhabited. It has been made very difficult to enter in the mosque. Electricity department has installed a huge transformer on the main gate itself. On one side someone has opened a band shop and the pathway has been narrowed down. The mosque is located in a purely non-Muslim locality. The mosque has 3 arches and towering minarets but is small. The waqf record of the mosque is present which is as follows: ward 18, gazette no 22-A, dated 7-6-1984.
