Masjid Nagina Golconda uninhabited
Hyderabad, October 5: Masjid Nagina Golconda is located within the fort limits which is also called as ‘Choti masjid’ (Small mosque). According to the architectural beauty of Nagina Masjid it can be termed as a gem on the forehead of the strongest fort. Despite being under the control of Tourist department and Archeological survey of India, indecent and lewd texts have been inscribed by the lovers on its wall. That needs to be wiped out. The serious issue has only one solution; the mosque should be rehabilitated and an Imam and a muezzin need to be arranged. The waqf record of Nagina mosque is as follows: Hyd/652, Masjid inside balahisar naginabagh (s) (36), Golconda Qila, Ward-9, gaz-13-A, sl.no.267, gaz date 29-3-1984, page no. 16.
