elangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy, who is likely to join Congress party, was facing revolt in his Mahbubnagar district as some of the district leaders and his followers have joined the ruling TRS.
Some TDP leaders and workers of Kodangal Assembly constituency, which is represented by Revanth Reddy have joined TRS. Meanwhile, Mahbubnagar district TDP president Erra Shekhar said there was no question of toeing the line of Revanth Reddy. Shekhar also clarified that there was no need for them to quit the party. Revanth Reddy’s strong supporter ZPTC member Balsingh Naik, MPP Sangita Shivkumar, mandal party resident Shivraj and Viresh Goud quit the TDP and joined the TRS. (NSS)
